UltraVNC is a freeware alternative to PcAnywhere. You must have a stable internet connection to use it, and you must be able to configure your router to forward the ports necessary to function.

Printable Version of these instructions INSTALL: When installing, select these options: - Select your language and click OK.
- Follow the instructions on the first Setup Wizard window.
- Read and click I accept the agreement, if you do. click Next >.
- Read the important information and click Next >.
- Select the Destination Location and click Next >.
- Select the following options and click Next >:
 - Select the Start Menu Folder and click Next >.
- Select the following options and click Next >:
 - On the Ready to Install window, click Install.
- This is the first of 3 windows which will appear, at the same time, and need input. Respond to them in this order:
Click OK. If you were warned that it was unsuccessful, you will need to log in as a computer administrator and reinstall.
 - This is the second of the 3 windows which will appear and need input:
Review the information and click Next >.
You will then see a new window telling you the setup is finished. Click Finish on this window. - This is the third of the 3 windows which will appear and need input:
This window is just telling you that you have no password set. Click OK.
 - Enter a password and click OK.
 - If a webpage opens to UltraVNC's ftp server, close it.
